In order for you to be able to attend this workshop, your business must be:

•Located in Worcestershire
•A Small to Medium Sized Enterprise (SME)
•Trading for less than 5 years
•Trading minimum 70% Business to Business

This course is ideal for any business embarking upon a project for the enterprise or for a client. The workshop is aimed at ensuring successful outcomes on complex projects. The principles of project management include:

- Establishing the business case
- Agreeing the project resources, budget, timescales, quality standards and tolerance (reasonable 'elasticity' for each)
- Engaging the ideal team (where this is possible)
- Breaking down the project into manageable stages and accompanying tasks per stage
- Identifying risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies,and resulting decisions
- Developing project communications - dashboard and detailed
- Dealing with issues and changes along the way
- Ensuring reasonable progress
- Closing the project and 'lessons learned' exercise
