Event Information

The market for low carbon and environmentally friendly goods and services is thriving in the UK and offers a huge business opportunity for new starts and for existing businesses.

Worcestershire County Councils' Low Carbon Opportunities Programme exists to help local businesses benefit from, and thrive in, this vibrant market.

On the 11th November, we will be holding the second of three free-to-attend, one hour webinars which aim to help Worcestershire SMEs launch or diversify into this market. The session will focus on identifying and examining the myriad of business opportunities in the low carbon market. We will examine the policy drivers behind this sector growth, and then cover how to develop opportunities in, for example, energy generation, waste reduction and reuse, resource efficiency and electric vehicles.

The Low Carbon Opportunities Programme also offers detailed and in-depth one-to-one business support from sector experts aimed at getting businesses investment ready, as well as providing capital grant contributions.
