Our Future: Tourism and Hospitality 


Thursday 29th April 2021 – 9.30am – 11am


Join us for an online event looking at the future of tourism in Worcestershire post-lockdown and beyond. 


We will be looking at predictions, trends, and insights for the tourism sector post-lockdown.  As well as the role, function, and purpose of Visit Worcestershire and initial thoughts from research done to create a new tourism strategy for the county.


There will be a chance for you to input and have your say with a live Q&A as well as learning more about the changes that Visit Worcestershire has already gone through.


You will also have the choice of attending 1 of 2 workshops delivered by The Hospitality Partnership*:



Reconnecting with your Marketplace - Discussing opportunities, positive language, knowing your customer, knowing your market (competition) collaboration and how to drive sales to get results



Driving Revenue through Upselling – Discussing how upselling will not only drive revenue but enhance the customer experience which will lead to repeat business and recommendations.



We will contact you before the event to confirm your workshop choice and to share a link to join the event.  


We appreciate that now is a busy time, so the event will be no longer than an hour and a half of your time.

Both workshops will be delivered by Jan Denning and Jo Kenny from The Hospitality Partnership.


Jan Denning is a tourism, travel and hospitality sector senior management professional with over 30 years' experience. Jo is armed with plentiful contacts, suppliers and buyers and prides herself on delivering effective and affordable sales and business development solutions to hospitality businesses.



Jo Kenny also holds over 30 years in the hospitality and MICE sector and has worked with brands such as Milennium and Copthorne, IHG, De Vere and Village hotels. Jo has also helped and supported venues such as Somerset House, Churchill War Rooms and Jockey Club venue with bespoke sales training and driving enquiry levels.
