About GEW

Global Entrepreneurship Week is a massive campaign to celebrate and empower entrepreneurs in every country and community around the world – especially those individuals who face structural barriers or may have never considered the idea of launching their own startup. Each November, 10 million people take part in tens of thousands of activities, competitions and events that inspire them to act and provide them with the knowledge, experience and connections they need to succeed.

The grant is available to eligible start-up and early stage businesses that meet the following criteria:

- Business must have started and have been trading for less than 36        months

- Business must be an SME

- Business must be based in Worcestershire

- Business must be trading at least 70% business to business

We offer grants of £1,000 - £15,000, match-funded at 40% - this means we could potentially fund 40% of your total project cost, providing costs are eligible.

Please note that as part of the grant evaluation process, all grant requests over £2,500 will require an online 1:1 application review with an independent business advisor.
