We look forward to welcoming you on the 28th where we will explore what accessibility really means, and how you can implement it into your business, exploring the full range of adjustments or additions you can make to make sure that everyone who visits gets an equally warm welcome.
We are very pleased to have guest speaker Jane Cooper from Access and Inclusion UK providing you with an overview of accessible tourism and give some simple tips as to what you can adopt in your business. Jane has extensive experience in this area and after having developed Access For All UK into one of the leading accessible tourism consultancies in the country, Jane has recently branched out to set up Access and Inclusion UK. Jane co-founded Accessible Derbyshire whose aim is to improve the lives of disabled people, living in and visiting Derbyshire and the Peak District, and is a one-stop website showcasing the best in accessible leisure and tourism in the area. She is also currently working with VisitEngland to develop an Accessible Tourism Toolkit for LVEPs.
VisitEngland are heavily focusing on the importance of accessibility, including in their Tourism Awards criteria, so we are delighted to be able to welcome Jane and allow her to share with you her valuable insight.
