This exciting event, hosted by BBC’s Dragons Den Winner, Peter Hill, will inspire you with local success stories, help build your confidence to embark upon your entrepreneurial journey and give you solid takeaways to implement into your new business.

What will the event cover?

The Six Reasons New Businesses Succeed, - hosted by Peter Hill, BBC’s Dragons Den Winner.

 

Local business Veg Life will take us through their inspirational story of how a passion for sustainability and food has led them to create a vegan scotch egg.

 

The Big Bang Theory: Turning ideas into reality! You have an idea so what next? Join Peter Daniel from Rock Solid Consulting who will explore market research strategies and effective positioning.

 

Get inspired by local business Meadow and Thyme - since its launch in 2022, the business has flourished and expanded its Instagram following to an impressive 150,000 followers.

 

How to Pitch to Anyone, Peter Hill will explain the four-step method he used to pitch in the Den and teach you how you can pitch any product or service to anyone.

Creativity for Early-Stage Business Owners by Dr Vessela Warren, University of Worcester Lecture and Business Owner.

 

The Business and IP Centre Worcestershire will provide an overview of its support services.

About Enterprising Worcestershire

 

The Enterprising Worcestershire Programme aims to help pre-start and early-stage businesses to flourish. It offers a two-day Start-It Business Masterclass for aspiring entrepreneurs, yet to start their venture. Masterclasses are hosted throughout the County. Business Coaching for early-stage businesses (trading up to three years). Up to 10 hours of flexible and bespoke one-to-one coaching.

 

The project is delivered and managed by Worcestershire County Council on behalf of Worcestershire District Councils. The project is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Worcestershire County Council.
